TWIYUBAKE Bunyunju, one of IMBARAGA’s youth groups in Rutsiro District, is achieving remarkable progress in poultry farming. The group, composed of 30 young women who began with no prior experience, has steadily grown into a well-organized and productive team managing 450 chickens. Through consistent effort and teamwork, the group now collects approximately 390 eggs daily, reflecting their improved skills in poultry management, feeding, and general farm care. Their journey demonstrates how practical training and collaboration can transform livelihoods within a short period of time.
Since September 2025, the group has so far recorded a total of 72,536 eggs, worth 10,880,400 RWF. This achievement highlights not only their dedication and discipline but also the broader impact of empowering young women with agricultural skills that support income generation and community development
